Hello World!

Posters: As well as making our website about our experience, we have also enjoyed making posters about FLL including the Core Values, Innovation Project, Robot Game, and Robot Design. Along with it, we also shared our experience and our improvements with FLL.

Pixel Art: One of the greatest projects we did was pixel art, using small lego pieces, we put them together to form words and write the Core Values and the spirit (Gracious Professionalism). Alongside the fun, we got very sore thumbs throughout the project.

  1. Making posters for each FLL category—Core Values, Innovation Project, Robot Game, Robot Design—sounds like a smart way to break the season into pieces the team can actually explain to outsiders. The pixel art addition is a nice touch too, since visual formats often carry further than text when you’re doing outreach. For another low-prep way to get people playing and thinking together, the bluffing word game at mimicparty.me works well in a browser with a group.

  2. Making posters for each FLL category—Core Values, Innovation Project, Robot Game, Robot Design—is a smart way to force yourselves to explain each part clearly, and the pixel art adds a fun creative layer on top. Sharing that experience with others fits the outreach side of FLL nicely. For another lightweight way to play together between build sessions, the daily word-guessing game at noillirk.app works well for a team.

  3. Making posters for each FLL category—Core Values, Innovation Project, Robot Game, Robot Design—sounds like a smart way to break the season into manageable pieces, and pairing them with pixel art gives the outreach a nice visual hook. Sharing the improvements alongside the posters also turns it into more than just decoration. That same instinct for getting friends involved in something playful carries over to free browser games like the party and word game at krillion.me, which needs no download to start.
