Hello World! Dressing up in FLL (First Lego League) is not only important but also incredibly fun. Firstly, it allows participants to showcase their creativity and individuality. Designing/creating unique costumes brainstorm and show their teams creativity in different ways.
Dressing up engages participants and showing skills while also expressing emotions. It creates a creative atmosphere during competitions, making it more enjoyable for both participants and judges. This year’s topic- Masterpiece! Our team came up with 2-4 people, swapping times to wear a true masterpiece; the Mona Lisa and Scream!
Expressing participants’ emotions causes a sense of core values too, when it comes to judging. We enhanced the judges and also the participants when using team spirit and making sure that creativity and thought was put into our costumes/accessories when made.
Emotionally, verbally and physically, our team has worked very extravagantly when putting effort and brainstorming ideas on costumes, hats, accessories, etc. Our best thought is to put all your hard work on costumes/posters when judging comes. If they see something creative or expressive, they might give you an extra point! For instance, we won 2nd place for Core Values during regionals, because of our exceptional costume and French fry hats!
