Badges? To us? Why?

Hello World! These are some of the types of badges we will be giving out to teams like yours. Do you want to know why? Of course you want to know.
To express this to FLL, we want to show our design and impact on the people around us and badges are a good way to portray that you have a special gift exclusively from us. As more people have badges, it spreads our presence and more people will notice. Also badges are like a souvenir and the symbol of dedication that we are putting into all FLL competitions, not just FLL Challenge, but also Centerstage and FLL Explore.
How can I get these badges?
Seeing and noticing us in a FLL competition. We will be wearing these badges and also have a black NewAI shirt that tells you that you are talking to one of our teammates. They will happily give you one if you ask. Don’t demand, we need to take time to search and give you a badge.
Why should I wear them?
We believe that if we ever see you again in FLL, it will become obvious if you put on your badge. That will tell us that you are unique and have made an impact because of how the badge symbolizes hard work and the strive for dedication for us and your team.

These badges do not use a complex locking and unlocking system, all you need to do to put the badge on is to push down and move the needle out of the metal V shape. Then slide it into your shirt and redo all of that. Be careful and apply it with two hands (one on the shirt, other on the badge) whilst sliding it into the shirt. Easy and secure, anyday, anytime.
