Make a Wish? Nope, 100 Wishes!

Just like learning is a life-long journey, our FLL journey will not stop but continue driving us all the way to Houston, US, where the FLL World Festival will sail on.

So, in this blog, we want to break the limit and be a wishful thinker. ?

We want to Think Big and write down a wish-list of 100 wishes to be realised when we become the ambassadors of Australia and debut at FLL World Festival, Houston.

If we could compete in Houston, we’d love to…

  1. Bring 1,000 Australian Masterpiece badges and exchange with teams in Houston! (Team 1585)
  2. Hand out 1,000 flyers/souvenirs to promote our website. (Muyao)
  3. Make 500 new friends from around the world and invite them to sign on our t-shirts/caps. (Muyao)
  4. Learn to speak ‘Hello World’ in at least 100 different languages or dialects. (Muyao)
  5. Bring and fly the national flag of Australia and Aboriginal flag in FLL Houston venue. (Muyao)
  6. Visit NASA (Johnson Space Centre and Houston Space Centre). (Muyao)
  7. Visit Houston Museum of Natural Science. (Muyao)
  8. Inspire new people to join FLL. (Vincent)
  9. Learn strategies from other elite teams. (Vincent)
  10. Explore American culture. (Vincent)
  11. Explore art galleries and forms. (Vincent)
  12. Interview FIRST Founder Dean Kamen and the owner of LEGO Group Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen to find out how they hatched the idea of engaging children around the world to research, build, and experiment in FLL. (Muyao)
  13. Represent Australia (Luqi)
  14. Meet the founder of FIRST and the owner of LEGO (Luqi)
  15. Get a sponsorship from Lego to promote our website (Luqi)
  16. Be recognised at First or other companies (Jake)
  17. Get a LEGO set from LEGO in order to promote our website (Luqi)
  18. Make a whole new era of NewAI, to make a stronger team. (Jake)
  19. Make NewAI famous (Luqi)
  20. Give/earn more than 100+ badges from different unique schools/ teams. (Jake)
  21. People can join NewAI internationally in different states or countries (Jake)
  22. Collaborate with populated companies. (Jake)
  23. Bring fun with the main judges or hosts (Jake)
  24. Make someone very important (CEO or Owner or Manager etc.) to wear our badge (Jake)
  25. Get recognised in different places all around the world (Angela)
  26. Share our experience and learn other people’s experience (Angela)
  27. Ensure multiple sponsorships. (William)
  28. Make more merchandise like pants, socks, hats, etc. (William)
  29. Hand out merchandise to 100 people. (William)
  30. Visit local robotics and coding institutions to learn their expertise and exchange experiences with them, or maybe we could form a global team for next FLL Season? (Muyao)
  31. Approach to local art galleries to introduce Aboriginal artists and artworks to them, and in return, learn native and contemporary American art history and artworks and bring them back to Australia to share nationally. (Muyao)
  32. Establish accounts for our team on social media, on which we will make connections with FLL officials, professionals, as well as other teams global wide. (Team 1585)
