An explanation of this artwork:
Welcome back to another one of NewAI’s blogs.
Recently, the Hello World team and several other NewAI members have visited Brisbane, Queensland, in pursuit of some robotics competitions they were hoping to win. Unfortunately, two of the three teams didn’t win anything, but fortunately everyone learnt something from their experience.
Shortly afterwards, we went to an Art Gallery, to explore some different art forms.
There happened to be digital art design software, so we designed this piece of art. This blog is going to explain and break down the meaning of this art piece.
Whilst the letters from “hello world” seem to be written in bulky bubbles with a stalky exclamation mark, there lies a deeper meaning.
The bubbles that make up the main text represent the students in NewAI and the resources that allow them to grow. Whilst some bubbles are larger, some also appear smaller. These represent the capabilities of certain students, however, as a team, we can still create our team name. Now reference to the exclamation mark. The long, stalky plant represents our team of coaches, parents, friends, and other supporters combined. While they seem very small on the image in comparison to everyone else, they as you can see, help emphasise our team, and make it the best it can be. The reason our team name is Hello world and the reason this piece of art is Hello world is because it is the title of our very first blog! So the words Hello world actually has a very deep and meaningful definition.
