Hello World! As you can tell from the diagram below, the Engineering Design Process (EDP) is a series of progressive reiterations. We are not simply repeating what we did but proceeding revolutionarily to design and create solutions.

Firstly, to optimise our website, we consulted IT professionals and experts for advice and suggestions. For example, our team member contacted Google Ads engineers in November and even though we haven’t heard from them yet, we performed some other engineering iterations while we were waiting for their reply.

Secondly, as part of external communication, we tried to collect feedback directly from users or visitors by adding a feedback tab on our website. We also tested the performance of our website on various medias, such as laptop version and mobile version of the same site. And specifically, by exploring the data collected from Google Analytics, we could easily tell which media is more popular and hence we try to optimise it as our priority. From the perspective of back-end, we ensured that the web pages could load as fast as possible, up to date with the latest standards in terms of SEO and code, and the navigation is simple to use.

Thirdly, in terms of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), we have upgraded to a more advanced WordPress Business plan which allows us to install plugins. We carried out this solution because the only way to do SEO in WordPress is via plugins. In Particular, we installed the YoastSEO plugin which is the best and free to use under this advanced plan. After we installed the plugin, we configured many settings, such as titles, descriptions and keywords, which will allow us to achieve a better rank on search engines.
