What to expect at your first FLL Event: Part 1
Going to your first ever First Lego League Event is exciting, but also nervous at the same time. This blog will go through what to expect at your first event!

Setting Up
When you first arrive, you will have a pit area to decorate. We have a in-depth blog on that here (LINK TO PIT AREA DECO BLOG). It is suggested that you bring some decorations, such as posters to show your team’s work! Depending on your event, your pit area might be huge or just a small table. Check with your event coordinator. For the regionals, we did have a small table which was not ideal, but we made it work.

Checking In & Admin Work
It is also very important to check your team in and see your schedule. We suggest you take a photo or take a copy so your team is organized and knows when your next matches, judging and all the other key events during the day are. There will also be some admin work. You will also need to sign media release and consent forms, but the coach should sort that out (just a reminder).
