As well as using CAD for robot design, which earned us an exceeds, we also had another area of good results we would like to share with you.
The second part we exceeded in the Robot Design was in Communication, where we displayed team spirit and enthusiasm. Everyone knew a good chunk about the robot design, and our french fry hats didn’t hurt either. Everyone also explained a decent amount of our robot code, so naturally the judges got the message that everyone on our team was involved, not a few people doing all the work for the rest.
We also unitedly explained our attachments, in detail, so the judges could understand our strategy.
Showing team spirit is quite important, because not only does it score you more points, but also makes everyone feel more involved, and everyone also has more fun. FLL is a competition where everyone grows together.
