Hello World! Whilst preparing your innovation project may be quite stressful, or maybe your robot game isn’t quite your strong suit, stress levels are a problem that are not just for you, but everyone.
Due to the fact that many rookie teams join the FLL Competition quite stressed, or unsure, we have decided to emphasise the importance of organisation.
Organisation is not just about putting your things in neat places, it’s actually a vital quality to have, not only in the FLL competition, but also in life.
Below are some ways you can organise your team for a less stressful and more fun game.
The first way is to assign separate roles to separate team members to work on. That way, no one’s mind is all over the place and everyone is concentrated on their assigned task. When everyone’s finished, you can get together and discuss strategies, however you may need to check with other teammates during preparation.
The second way is to assign certain time intervals to tasks, such as prioritising 2 hours to build your robot and then 1 hour to code it. This will help your team stay on track of what you are doing and maintain a clear mind.
