Hello World! The theme of our FLL Innovation Project this year revolves around ‘sharing’. So, what triggered us to investigate and research till finally come up with our solutions?
Every year, there are thousands of teams worldwide participating in FLL, and 2023 will be no exception. When our team delved into FLL as a beginner last year, we struggled and felt stressful as we had no hint of what a real FLL project or competition might look like…Eventually, we ‘survived’ last season, sharpened skills, harvested fun, and learned our lessons from past mistakes. Above all, we would like to share with the rookie teams this year to not only inspire them but also lessen their burden and pressure.
Once problems being identified, we started research and sought solutions. Research is an ongoing process and takes various forms. We watched professional light shows such as Vivid Sydney and The LUME in Melbourne, watched on-site talk presented by art masters, conducted street surveys via questionnaire, exploited many cutting-edge software…
At last, our solutions were formed—that is, we created our special website ‘https://flljourney2023-24.com/’ and posted blogs to public, as well as made and launched a promo video to invite more rookie teams to learn from our experience.
