Hello World! Another precious lesson that I have learnt from FLL Asia Pacific Invitational is that in case our finished robot is quite big, some handy auxiliary equipment such as trolley and toolbox can be very helpful. Especially, we can use toolbox to carry spare parts to repair our robot on site.
Additionally, according to what I have observed, the various attachments to be installed on robot one after another to do different tasks during Robot Game are allowed to lean over the table and partly hang in mid-air. When we design the attachments, it is worth considering building them in jumbo-size to enhance the stability and versatility. Especially, we can design the attachments in ‘canopy’ style, where all the attachments are built on, so the installation and replacement between different tasks can be efficient. The driving base beneath the attachments can be just in regular shape, simple and stable.
